The next full moon will occur on March 14, 2025coinciding with A total lunar eclipse which will be visible between 13 and 14 of that month. According to the Guatemalan astronomer Edgar Castro, there will be a alignment of nodes, which will allow both phenomena to occur on the same date:
“The full moon will coincide with a total lunar eclipse because the nodes will be aligned, that is, the centers of the sun, the earth and the moon,” says Castro. During this phenomenon, the earth’s shadow will cover our satellite, which will lead to a visual phenomenon that all astronomy lovers can enjoy.
