Due to several violent events registered in the capital, the PMT has reported on complications in vehicular traffic.
Traffic authorities from Guatemala City reported this February 27 about complications in vehicular traffic due to several violent events that occurred in different parts of the capital.
According to Amílcar Montejo report, a transit mayor of the city, traffic has been complicated in Areas of Zone 1, 7 and 11.
In zone 11 an armed attack occurred on the Roosevelt road that left a deceased person, and according to Montejo, The Public Ministry is about to end with the proceedingswhich have caused a row of vehicles.
Also, on the 10th Avenue and 4 street in the Quinta Samayoa neighborhood a violent event occurred, which Montejo points out that There is presence of the authorities and media.
Finally, in the northern area of the historic center, in zone 1, it is blocked for a third armed attack on the 20th street and 6 avenue in that same area.
Montejo reported other facts that have complicated traffic, such as a incident where containers that transported a vehicle on the 6 avenue in zone 4 fell.
He also reported on a collision in the 3 street in zone 17 and a Bus with mechanical breakdowns on the Roosevelt road and 3 Avenida in Zone 7.
