The second edition of the family race The Route of the Churches, will be held this Sunday, March 2 from 7:00 in the morning, with the aim of promoting sport, healthy life and internal tourism in Guatemala.

This edition will be full of surprises for the participants, the competition is 11 kilometers, the main streets of La Antigua Guatemala will be traveled, having the central park, next to the municipality. The churches that will travel are: La Merced, San Felipe, Jocotenango, Hermitage Santa Lucía, El Calvario, Belén, School of Christ, San Francisco, San Pedro and the Cathedral.
A participation of 1,500 athletes is expected, registrations can be made in all industrial bank agencies, through online banking and Bi agents, using agreement 5457 on behalf of the Route of the Churches, or entering the website smartticket.com.
The registration cost is Q 180, which includes a shirt, collectible commemorative medal when crossing the goal, number with chip, postcard, bag, photographs and gifts of the sponsoring brands. Participants must collect their kit at the race expo, today at 12:00 noon at 6:00 in the afternoon and tomorrow, March 1 from 9:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the afternoon in the ruins of San Francisco in Antigua Guatemala.
Part of the funds raised in the event will be allocated to the works of Fray Erwin and the activities of Lent and Holy Week of the Brotherhood of Jesus Nazareno of Forgiveness.
The Route of the Iglesias has the support of Municipality of Antigua, Banco Industrial, Powerade, Brotherhood of Jesús Nazareno del Forgón and Inguat.
