He met this afternoon about a new license request from the current head Marco Livio Díaz Reyes for a few days and assumed as a superintendent designated Armando Gabriel Pokus Yaquián, who is the Taxpayer Attention Mayor.
This application will be informed to the members of the Board of Directors of the Superintendence of Tax Administration (SAT), which meet tomorrow, Tuesday, March 3.
Pokus Yaquián will be in charge of the Tax Administrator and will participate as secretary of the Board of Directors in the election process of the new SAT chief. In December, he had already assumed the headquarters temporarily and only last week he was also in charge for a few days.
The Superintendent also participates as a secretary in the sessions that the Board of Directors, which is chaired by the Minister of Finance, Jonathan Menkos and that on Thursday, February 27, summoned the professionals of the Economic, Financial and Legal Sciences to participate in the process.
Díaz Reyes, will conclude his five -year term on April 14, a position for which he was elected in 2020.
It was known that the intendants of Supervisory, Óscar Hernández; Collection, Érick Echeverría Mazariegos; Customs, Edwin Orlando Curther and Legal Affairs, Óscar Hernández.
Will not participate in choice
Through a statement, Díaz Reyes reported that he will not participate in the future election that this course.
“After a deep reflection, I decided not to participate in the new selection process to direct and lead the SAT. My decision is due to the wear and tear that my health has suffered. In SAT there is a committed and trained team to follow the long -term efforts that are being built, ”highlights its message.
