Several regions of the United States are whipped by violent storms and tornadoes, which have already caused the death of 18 people.

At least 18 people died and dozens were injured after violent tornadoes hit the center of the United States, state authorities reported this Saturday, March 15.
The Misuri road patrol confirmed 11 “deaths related to storms” in a statement in X. In neighbor Arkansas, local authorities pointed out that three people died because of these meteorological phenomena.
The State Police reported the fall of trees and electrical cables, as well as damage to residential and commercial buildings, with some areas severely impacted by tornadoes, electric storms and large hail.
Six deaths were reported in Wayne County, Missuri; three in Ozark, where there were also multiple injured; And one in the counties of Butler and Jefferson, police reported.
Further south, in Texas, local authorities informed the AFP that four people died in traffic accidents related to dust storms and fires that considerably reduced visibility on the roads.
In the neighboring state of Arkansas, in addition to the three deceased, the authorities reported that 29 people were injured.
Meteorological services predicted more tornadoes on Saturday in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee.
