Peruvian-Spanish novelist Mario Vargas Llosa died this Sunday, April 13 at 89 at his Lima House, where he resided from 2022 after a long journey that led him to live in Europe since the 1990s, his children informed through social networks.
“With deep pain, we make public that our father, Mario Vargas Llosa, has died today in Lima, surrounded by his family and in peace,” wrote his son Álvaro Vargas Llosa in his account of the social network X.
