This May 12, the magistrates of the Third Chamber of the Court of Appeals declared without place a challenge against Judge Fredy Orellana, and confirms it to continue knowing the file of the case called seed corruption.
After the resolution, Deputy Andrea Reyes said they raised a new challenge against the judge. The audience was held behind closed doors and part of the challenge was presented by the defense lawyer of Eduardo Masaya, who was arrested for allegedly involved in the case.
“As a seed party we have presented a new challenge against the judge. The challenge indicates Orellana’s interest to keep suspended and canceled to the party“Deputy Reyes said.
The challenging hearing also came Alejandra Chiroy who is indicated in the file and Jorge Santos Neil’s lawyer, who served as TSE computer science and is waiting for the development of the intermediate stage hearing. The Public Ministry evacuated the hearing through a memorial.
For his part, Fernando Linares Beltranena, who serves as a complainant within the corruption case of Semilla, said that the judge had not issued an opinion before the capture of lawyer Eduardo Masayabut “he reported after linked to Masaya.”
