Naturalab
The laboratory that first specialized in the determination of parameters used for the diagnosis of nutritional status of the oil palm and fertility of soils in Guatemala. It is responsible for the analysis of soil samples and plant tissues, following procedures and norms established for the correct determination of parameters obtaining reliable results that guarantee the satisfaction of their customers.
Water sources care
Through practices such as artificial irrigation, the company’s palm plantations use rainwater that falls into the regions in which we operate. The little water used in the industrial transformation process is treated by means of a treatment lagoon system that improve its quality and allow its reuse, according to the chemical and organic load parameters allowed by existing environmental legislation.
The wastewater of benefit plants are taken to treatment lagoons (with geomembrane that protects the water from the waters under treatment). The treated water is taken to plantation to be used as fertirriego (allowed by the country’s legislation), so that these waters are not arranged in any body of water.
