The Guatemala team fulfilled its first week of works for the World Cup qualifiers matches that will take place in June 2025.
After some days of training, the coach of Guatemala, the Mexican Luis Fernando Tenaannounced a new call for only 10 players that will continue under their orders from May 19 to 24.
This new payroll is integrated mostly by FC communications players, plus the presence of a legionary as is the case of Nicolás Samayoa that already reported to workouts after being with the Polyitehnica Iași from Romania.
The short list will be training under the dwelling of Tena at the High Performance Center of the National Football Federation of Guatemala while the end of developing The final of the Clausura 2025.

Once the tournament is over and the champion is taken, the Mexican coach will launch a new call.
That payroll is expected to be complete and have the best players available to first face a friendly duel in the US. Against El Salvador in the Finley Stadium (Chattanoga, Tennessee) on May 31.
That will be the last exam of the bicolor before facing the Dominican Republic already Jamaica on the double date of Concacaf qualifiers between June 6 and 10.
