The National Civil Police (PNC) reported on Wednesday, August 6 that, in the Buena Vista neighborhood, zone 7 of Chimaltenangopolice officers 73 captured Cristofer N., 28.

According to the PNC, the detainee was denounced by his uncle because, supposedly, under death threats and breaking with a shotgun in hand, he intended to attack him.

“This individual was neutralized and a shotgun was confiscated without legal documentation and 166 ammunition of various calibers,” said the institution.

In addition, the agents confiscated an ax that allegedly use against his relative.

During the apprehension, an agent of police station 73 was injured on the right foot, the police report added. The uniformed man was transferred to a health center and his state of health is stable.

Another capture and search

In another fact, the PNC reported that Carlos N., 27, was arrested in Esperanza, Quetzaltenango, where, allegedly, illegally carried a shotgun while he was under liquor effect.

The institution added that, in a search in the Valle del Sol neighborhood, Zone 1 of Jutiapa, in monitoring of the death of a woman, several firearms that were kidnapped for research purposes were located.
