Road emergencies marked the first hours of Sunday, August 31. One of the most recent cases was starring a drunk driver, according to the results of the breathalyzer tests practiced by the authorities.
Agents of the National Civil Police (PNC) were alerted to a mishap on Route 6, on the 6th Avenue of the Capital area. The reports indicated that a police officer had been hit.
Upon arriving at the scene, the agents found the driver of the vehicle under liquor effect, so they practiced breathalyzer tests that were positive.
The man was referred to the Tower of Courts.

Other facts
In zone 6 capital, relief bodies attended a motorcycle accident. The pilot, about 30, died when losing control of his vehicle.
In kilometer 226 of the CA-2 West route, Quetzaltenango jurisdiction, another accident left a deceased. A vehicle hit a trailer and the driver of the light car lost his life.
In addition, at kilometer 56.6 of the South CA-9 route, in Escuintla, a motorcycle starred in an accident that blocked one of the lanes during the early morning. A person died.
Also in Escuintla, but at kilometer 75, a truck suffered an accident that only left material damage, according to the report of the paramedics.
