In the El Rosario neighborhood, Amatitlán, investigators from the Specialized Criminal Investigation Division (DEIC) of the National Civil Police and prosecutors from the Public Ministry raided a property in monitoring cases of drug dealing.
The police forces captured Wagner “N”, accused of illicit trade, trafficking and storageand Estuardo “N”, accused of attempted femicide.
At the scene they found firearms, drugs, 13 cell phones and cash.
The PNC seized a carbine, a revolver, 30 ammunitionas well as one hundred containers with alleged cocaine and 65 bags with possible marijuana.

Additionally, the total amount of money from the possible sale and distribution of illicit substances amounts to Q60,741.

Police reported the capture of one of the 20 escaped prisoners from the Fraijanes 2 prisonidentified as “Restless”in Quetzaltenango.
Furthermore, in the same place they were arrested two alleged gang members from Barrio 18 and a minor was referred to the Attorney General’s Office (PGN).
During that operation, two PNC agents were injuredalthough they are stable.
Also, on March 13, the alleged person responsible for the death of a tattoo artist in zone 8 of Mixco, identified as “Nene”. His capture occurred on the Mateo Flores road, zone 3 of the same municipality.
According to authorities, the suspect belongs to the Mara Salvatrucha.
