Volunteer Firefighters reported this May 3 about a plane crash in Santa Cruz Barillas, Huehuetenango.

According to information provided by the rescue forces, an aircraft crashed in a mountainous area of ​​the village Amelco.

The rescue forces transferred two injured people to the Santa Cruz Barillas District Hospital; one of them died upon admission.
