The fire department report details people killed and injured in acts of violence this Monday, May 18.
The Municipal Firefighters reported the discovery of a body on the 5th. avenue and 1st. street, zone 9 of the capital.
They added that, at the scene, paramedical personnel located a woman without vital signs.
After evaluation at the site, lifeguards indicated that the cause of death could have been stoning. The victim was located between hallways in a shopping area.
The Volunteer Firefighters reported that a man was injured by a gunshot when he was moving through the entrance to the 24 de Diciembre settlement, La Verbena neighborhood, zone 7. The motive for the attack on the victim is unknown.
Mynor Espinoza, spokesperson for the Mixco commune, reported that in the 6th. avenue and 25 street, zone 1 of that municipality, on the boulevard to Ciudad Satélite, the body of a person was located.
He added that the body was wrapped in sheets, which made vehicular mobility difficult.
