Argentina staged a historic comeback against Egypt, in a match in which emotions were present during the 90 minutes, from joy to great frustration.
During the match there were outstanding plays, but one of them has been considered by many Albiceleste fans as historic.
It is a tackle by the player Leandro Paredes in the last minutes of the match, a crucial action, since the African team began a counterattack that could mean the end of Argentina’s journey in the World Cup.
The emotion that this play has caused has been such that an Argentine fan even got a tattoo of that moment to always remember it.
According to InfobaeInstagram user Adri Aguilera82 published on that social network that, after the game, he got a tattoo of Paredes’ removal, specifically of the moment he steals the ball from the Egyptian player.
The publication obtained more than five thousand likes, including that of Paredes himself. In fact, in his stories, the fan mentions the midfielder with the phrase: “You are the greatest there is.”
The tattoo quickly went viral and numerous media outlets and content creators reacted to the illustration and expressed their amazement at the fans’ ingenuity.
Now, the Argentina team will face Switzerland in the quarterfinals of the World Cup. The match will be played next Saturday, July 11.
