With a theme that seeks to exalt the essence of Antigua Guatemala, comes the tenth edition of the Flower Festivalwhere the ephemeral art of floral arrangements and the natural beauty of the city converge to welcome national and foreign tourists.
This event, which was born in 2017, has marked Antigua Guatemala, which has recognized November as the Month of Flowers. Beyond adorning streets, facades and other emblematic places of the colonial city, this edition seeks to recognize Antigua Guatemala as a space where it flourishes.
“There are cities that decorate their streets with flowers… but Antigua Guatemala is different; here the flowers are born from it, from its people, from its streets, facades, volcanoes, markets and hills. They are born from every corner, making it the “root” of this festival,” highlights the statement for this edition.
With this idea, the theme of this tenth edition emerged: “Flourishing City”, which seeks to remember that Antigua Guatemala has always flourished.
For ten editions, the colonial city has been transformed into a living floral art gallery, where the creativity of artists is exhibited on facades, monuments and emblematic spaces.
This festival, which continues to grow every year, will not only be experienced on November 14 and 15, but will also have an agenda of activities that will begin in October and will extend until the celebration of the Flower Festival. These are the activities scheduled for this edition:
Flower Festival Agenda
Cooking with Flowers (October 18)
Gastronomic competition in which chefs and cooks present innovative dishes made with edible flowers.

Art Exhibition (October 25)
Exhibition that brings together works inspired by the botanical soul of Antigua Guatemala. It includes painting, sculpture, floral and textile art, with pieces by local and international artists.

Launch of Eternal Spring (October)
Presentation of a special edition of commemorative beer for the Flower Festival, by Antigua Cerveza.
Delivery of Las Flores Trail Run kits (November 7)
Delivery of kits and welcome to the runners who will participate in the race.
Memorial Gardens (November 7-15)
According to the statement, for the 2026 edition of the Flower Festival, various spaces in the city will open their doors to become Commemorative Gardens, a collection of floral experiences inspired by the most emblematic editions of the festival.
Las Flores Trail Run (November 8)
Mountain race through the trails and landscapes of Carmona Trails.
Editions of 5 and 10 kilometers, aimed at the whole family, including pets.
Place: Carmona Trails.
Car Parade “Spring Begins” (November 13)
Car parade to welcome the Flower Festival. The organizers promise a tour full of magic, charm and flowers.
Flower Festival (November 14 and 15)
Celebration of the tenth edition of the Flower Festival, under the theme “Blooming city”.
