The football talents seedbed is 10 years old
The Children’s and Youth Sports event that during these ten years has provided a platform for healthy entertainment, sports training with high ethical standards and has been a hotbed of talents for national and international football, the super liga clear, reaches its tenth edition.

Since its launch, more than 3,600 teams have participated in Guatemala, involving more than 36,700 children and young people. This tournament has been possible thanks to the joint commitment of players, coaches, parents and friends, who have worked professionally to promote not only sports skills, but also values and positive attitude in each meeting.
This year, the Super Liga Claro Guatemala will have two headquarters again, Guatemala City: Fuoteca Concepción (Km. 15 Road to El Salvador, CC Pradera Concepción) and Quetzaltenango: The Sport Club quarry (Diagonal 11, 27a-81, Zone 1), which will allow greater coverage and will facilitate the participation of teams of the West and the southern coast of the country.
“Seeing the players on the court, delivering their maximum effort and sharing with their families, fills us with pride. This tournament was created with that goal and, year after year, we have overcome it: with more categories, female inclusion and 2 headquarters to receive everyone with open arms,” said Willy Andreatta, Marketing and Commercial Development Manager of Claro Guatemala.
Registration of this tenth edition are available in superigaclaro.comuntil June 30 where they can fill the form and the bases of the tournament. Participation is completely free, of course covers the costs of court, balls, gabachas for players, arbitration and hydration.
The competition is divided into four categories, in male and female branches:
- Sub-13: Born in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015
- Sub-17: Born in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011
The tournament will take place during July and August, with a quota of 52 teams per headquarters, for a total of 104 teams. The matches will be played on the courts of Fuoteca Concepción and La Cantera Sport Club, and the national final will be in Fuoteca Cayalá, zone 16.
To the international final
The four champions teams will represent the country in the international tournament against the finalists of El Salvador, Honduras and Costa Rica. The Grand Final will be held in San José, Costa Rica, from September 26 to 28. Of course it will reward the champions with uniforms, shoes, briefcases, aerial tickets and complete stay.
“We already gave the departure flag. In a few weeks we will enjoy the passion of football. Because this sport is much more than a game: it is an experience that leaves a mark on the life of those who live it,” Andreatta concluded.
