The BTS South Korean band commemorated their 12th anniversary of debut with a surprising meeting of several of its members, this Friday, June 12. The appearance of Jin and Jungkook with J-Hope during a concert at the Goyang stadium, in Seoul, unleashed the Euphoria of the Army and revived expectations about the soon return of the iconic K-Pop group to the stages.
In a stadium that brought together more than 27 thousand K-Pop fans in Seoul, Jin and Jungkook surprised the public when climbing with J-Hope to celebrate the closure of the singer’s solo tour.
Two days after his departure from military service, Jin and Jungkook joined the celebration, in which they performed songs such as “I Wonder …” and “Seven”, unpublished compositions of the artists. They also sang BTS songs, such as “Spring Day” and “Don’t Say You Love Me”, which excited the public and revived the hope of an upcoming reunion.
Currently, of the members of the K-Pop group, only Suga is about to conclude military service, which will end on June 21.
The leader of the group, RM, also a member of BTS, expressed his joy for the imminent return of the group after fulfilling his military duty. Through the Westverse fans platform, he shared an encouraging message: “We will try to do even better once again.”
His pronouncement coincided with the 12th anniversary of the band. According to the Yonhap agency, the singer stood out this Friday: “I will try to go somewhere again, although I don’t know where we just want to walk together romantically.”
The group, which stepped on the stages for the last time in 2022 before entering military service, could meet its audience after the conclusion of the military duty of all its members. Finally, RM said, “at each intimidating crossroads I have been able to resist and get ahead thanks to all of you. I am sincere grateful.”
BTS’s anniversary is celebrated worldwide
On the occasion of the anniversary of the South Korean group, thousands of fans around the world congregated in the city of Goyang to participate in the BTS Festa, a celebration that highlights the history of the group and its narrow link with their followers, known as Army.
The festival consecrates the legacy of Jin, J-Hope, RM, V, Jungkook, Jimin and Suga in the K-Pop, showing from trophies and discs to personal pieces of the members.
BTS ends your military service
The members of BTS had to comply with the South Korean law and listed in the military service from 2022. Finally, RM, group leader, and V ended their period on June 10; The next day, Jimin and Jungkook also concluded their time in the army.
