Two suspects of the armed attack in which Chelsy Gabriela García died were linked to criminal proceedings, judicial sources reported on Tuesday.
Pedro Morales Carrera was linked to the illegal carrying of arms, and Edgar Humberto González Herrera, for an attack with specific aggravation and shots without just cause.
Both were arrested minutes after An armed attack will be reported at kilometer 13.5 of the route to the Atlantic, on Sunday, March 9.
On the day of the fact, the National Civil Police (PNC) reported that both were driving aboard an orange vehicle and that, when closing routes, they took the suspects.
He added: “At the time of descending from the car, shooting against the humanity of the police, so they were given persecution on foot on wooded land in the place of apprehension.”
He added: “At the time of reducing them to order, two guns were seized with which they had shot against the captors, the first one was seized Bersa gun and the second glock covers illegally.”
The PNC said: “The CNC general director David Estuardo Custodio Bite led the operations to prevent those who attacked a woman who was driving a Picop escape.”
