For this week, the weather forecast in Guatemala indicates areas with fog or mist during the early morning and evening hours, partially cloudy skies, alternating with little cloudiness, reported the Insivumeh.

In addition, scattered drizzle and rain accompanied by electrical activity are expected during the afternoon and evening.

According to the forecast, the expected rains are associated with the entry of humidity from both coasts, local conditions and approach of a cold front north of the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico, starting this Wednesday, October 29.

Maximum temperatures will gradually drop d“from the northern regions to the center,” the bulletin highlights.

For the central plateau, which includes the capital, partly cloudy skies are expected, alternating with little cloudiness; warm environment during the day and cold at night and early morning in the western highlands. Northeast wind is expected, light, occasionally moderate.

Alta Verapaz, the Caribbean and the Northern Transversal Belt will maintain partially cloudy conditions, with rains in the afternoon and evening.

Meanwhile, in the Motagua valley and the eastern valleys there could be morning fog and scattered rains in mountainous areas.
