The First Division League of Guatemala held this Monday the 13th the technical conference between the Executive Committee and the members of the teams participating in the access phase to the quarterfinals. At the meeting, the dates, times and stadiums were defined for the eight round-trip matches that will determine the last four qualifiers for the quarterfinals of the 2026 Clausura Tournament.
Among the most notable agreements of the congress, the teams requested National League referees for the access phase, a decision that reflects the importance that the clubs give to this eliminatory round. In addition, it was agreed that all stadiums will receive visiting fans, guaranteeing the festive atmosphere that characterizes Guatemalan soccer in its most important phases.
Regarding musical instruments, it was agreed that their entry will not be allowed in the Israel Barrios and Alejandro Ochaeta Requena stadiums, while in the other stages there will be no restrictions in this regard. With everything defined, the four series start this week with the first legs between Wednesday and Thursday.

A phase that promises emotions
The four winners of these series will join Dep. San Pedro FC, Dep. Gomerano, CSD Chiquimulilla and Iztapa, which qualified directly to the quarterfinals as the first two in each group, thus completing the table of eight teams that will fight for the Clausura 2026 title.
Defining the schedule several days in advance gives the teams time to prepare their tactical and logistical proposals, while the fans already have the key dates of a knockout phase marked on the calendar that promises to be one of the most exciting of the season in the Guatemalan First Division.
