Gaby Moreno has conquered Broadway by playing one of the main characters of the play Hadestownone of the musical hits awarded with the Tony Awards. Given his success, Guatemalan singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona shared words of support and pride for his compatriot.
The Guatemalan singer personifies Persephone, wife of King Hades, in a story that presents two love plots in this musical staging. The play, which incorporated its new main cast since last March, has highlighted Moreno.

The Guatemalan, who has stood out in the international musical arena, has closely followed Moreno’s career, who has even been a surprise guest at various concerts on his recent tour, both in Guatemala and the United States.
“My favorite in this Broadway masterpiece, Hadestown. I love you very much, Gaby Moreno,” said the interpreter of “Cavemen.” This play, produced by Mara Isaacs, Dale Franzen, Hunter Arnold and Tom Kirdahy, has led Moreno to debut on Broadway.
Moreno stars alongside Joshua Colley, who plays Orpheus; Gary Dourdan, as Hades; J. Harrison Chee, as Hermes, and Jordan Tyson, as Eurydice.
