At least 65 students were found to have symptoms of food poisoning this Friday, April 24, at the National Regional School of the West (ENRO), in Santa Lucía Utatlán, Sololá.
According to Víctor Gómez, spokesperson for the Volunteer Firefighters, lifeguards provided care to students who presented symptoms compatible with poisoning, after consuming food inside the educational establishment.
The firefighters carried out pre-hospital care at the scene and transferred the students to the Sololá National Hospital Emergency Room for medical evaluation and treatment.
