On date 22 of the Clausura, Achuapa and Antigua GFC could not beat the rival goal and ended up equaling 2 this Sunday. Antigua GFC started with an intense game and high pressure, which allowed them to open the scoring after a play by Diego Santis when 39 minutes into the first half. The team continued to dominate and in the 7th minute of the second stage, Juan Carbonell took advantage of a play to extend the lead. Erick Sánchez saved Achuapa with his double play, first at 20′ and then at 32′ 2T.
Erick Sánchez distinguished himself as the most outstanding player of the match. The Achuapa striker showed his best level by scoring 2 goals and finishing twice into the opponent’s goal.
Another fundamental player in the defense was Juan Carbonell. The Antigua GFC defender was important for scoring 1 goal.
