The film’s synopsis: The Empire has fallen and Imperial warlords remain scattered across the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect what the Rebellion fought for, it has enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu. Directed by Jon Favreau, Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu It also stars Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White, and is produced by Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni and Ian Bryce, with music by Ludwig Göransson.
This production was originally intended to be season 4 of The Mandalorian (2019), but Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni decided to turn it into a movie during the SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Javier Ibarreche and Gaby Cam hosted the panel, which included a summary of highlights from the franchise Star Wars and a special presentation of stormtroopers. Pascal, Favreau and Grogu appeared at the Thunder Stage by Cinemex, in Centro Banamex, to surprise more than 2,500 followers with an exclusive preview of the new film.
As part of the experiences that Disney presented in this edition of the convention, attendees also had the opportunity to visit the space dedicated to Disney+, with activities from ESPN, The Simpsons and Daredevilas well as finding out about upcoming film releases with spaces for Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, The Devil Wears Prada 2, Moana, Avengers: Doomsday and toy story 5. The event also had a point of sale for official products.
