The global superstars of bachata, Romeo Santos (the king) and Pince Royce (the prince), joined their talent and are currently promoting Better Late Than Never Tour, a tour with which they will visit several international venues.

In November 2025, what seemed impossible became reality. Santos and Royce published Better Late Than Neverthe superstars’ first joint album, with which they marked a transcendental moment in the history of contemporary tropical music.

At that time, Sony Music Latin indicated that Santos and Royce kept that production a secret and, without publishing previous singles, they presented an album made up of thirteen unreleased songs.

According to Sony Music Latin, Romeo Santos led the production, played with the traditional arrangements of the genre and modernized it by fusing other rhythms such as R&B and urban beats. In addition, the album featured the pen of Prince Royce on four songs.

Darts is a theme in which Santos and Royce explore the R&B through a contemporary musical arrangement that fuses afrobeattropical rhythms, violins and various guitars,” Sony Music Latin indicated at the time.

“The modern lyric explores Dominican slang and uses astrology as a narrative resource to define the personality traits of the protagonists of a toxic relationship, as well as the spite, wounds and faults it leaves in the loved one,” the company added.

Other topics

According to Sony Music Latin, the album also includes Jezebela song in which Santos and Royce reveal a story of passion and incorporate elements of R&B and reggaeton, which reinforces the narrative. While, in Oh, Saint Michael! The artists pay tribute to the Caribbean and its rhythms and send a nod to the Puerto Rican bomb.

The album closes with The last bachataa song that incorporates flashes of the bolero of yesteryear and a sound aesthetic vintage with which they pay tribute to some of the most emblematic voices of global music such as Selena Quintanilla, Michael Jackson, Jenni Rivera, Prince and the Dominican icons Yoskar Sarante and Ruby Pérez.
