The National Civil Police (PNC) reported this Monday, May 11 that The seizure of weapons continues at the Santo Tomás de Castilla Port Company, Puerto Barrios, Izabal.
He added that investigators inspected a van with boxes of parcels from the United States.
In the boxes they located and seized four .22 caliber rifles, a 12 gauge shotgun, two pistols, two hoppers and 937 ammunition of different calibers.
According to the PNC, in the last week, in the aforementioned port, agents have located about 35 firearms.
Among what was seized are rifles, shotguns and pistols, according to the report.
In addition, authorities located 599 ammunition of different calibers and 15 hoppers, all without legal documentation.
