A 16-year-old girl was identified by North Carolina authorities as murder his parents and grandmother, in complicity with an alleged 28-year-old man.

According to information from Univision, on the night of May 7, the authorities entered a home located in Fairview, North Carolina, after a call alerted that the inhabitants had not shown signs of activity for several days.

When they entered, the authorities found the bodies of two adults – a man and a woman – as well as that of an older adult. All victims had gunshot wounds.

Authorities later identified the victims as Travis Eugene Grant41 years old; his wife, Kimberly Michelle Grant, 42, and Sharon Harwood Grant of 66.

According to Univision, authorities announced charges against the daughter of the deceased couple, identified as Star Grant.

In addition to the teenager, authorities announced charges against a man from 28 years old named Devan Loving, alleged accomplice to the triple crime.

According to statements by Major John Ledford of the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office, “She is the daughter of the couple and the granddaughter of the deceased elderly woman.”.

“Detectives discovered that 16-year-old Star Grant was missing from her home and received information that she may be in the Gatlinburg, Tennessee, area. with Devan Loving,” Sheriff Quentin Miller reportedly said, according to Univisión.

The authorities indicated that the minor and the man were detained in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and, according to Univisión, They were charged with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of conspiracy to commit murder.

The media points out that the young woman, despite being 16 years old, will be prosecuted as an adult.

It also states that murder is considered a class A serious crime, which can carry the death penalty or life imprisonment.
