Thriambos Productions presents Bernarda Alba’s housea play based on the dramaturgical piece of the same name written by the Spanish author Federico García Lorca. This classic takes the viewer to meet Bernarda, an authoritarian and repressive woman who turns mourning for her husband’s death into an emotional prison.
“After the death of her second husband, Bernarda Alba secludes herself and imposes rigorous and suffocating mourning for eight yearsprohibiting his five daughters from going to the party. When Angustias, the first-born and only daughter of the first husband, inherits a fortune, she attracts a suitor, Pepe el Romano,” indicates the synopsis of the work.
The cast is made up of Gretchen Barneond, Mónica Sánchez, Ana María Bravo, Fernanda Sesam, Elena Velásquez, Michelle Sosa, Mariale Bonilla, Dara Catú, Heydi Siliezar, Scheherazade López and Azúl Bolaños.
