The world of Latin music is in mourning, after the death of Dominican singer Alex Bueno was announced, who presented health complications three weeks ago and was subsequently admitted to the intensive care unit.
It was this June 18 when it was announced that the singer had died in New York City, at 9:43 a.m. (7:43 a.m. in Guatemala), according to relatives.
It is known that, for more than nine months, the “Que Volver” singer would have faced health complications after being diagnosed with cancer. Through his official account, the news of his death was announced, and it was highlighted that “his departure leaves an irreplaceable void in the world of art and in the hearts of all of us who had the honor of knowing him and admiring his musical work.”
Bueno presented health complications in 2025, but it was in September of that year when he was transferred to the United States in order to continue his treatment and undergo surgery.

After remaining in the intensive care unit, the team announced the artist’s death this Wednesday, June 18. In their message they thanked their followers for their affection towards the artist and his family, and requested understanding and respect for the privacy they need at this time.
