A new collectible doll was announced by Barbie, from the Mattel companythis time inspired by the American actress, singer and songwriter Miley Cyrus.
The company has launched a series of special editions for the Barbie Signature line, in which portrays figures of pop culture, music and contemporary history, designed especially for collectors and fans.
“Something beautiful. Someone iconic. Meet Miley Cyrus Barbie doll now at major retailers“, published the official account of Barbie on Instagram, where he also shared photographs of the new figure.
Barbie Miley Cyrus was officially presented on June 30, 2026, with a black leather outfit, heels and dark glasses that refers to the outfit created by fashion designer Azzedine Alaïa, which Miley wore in the music video Golden Burning Sun.
“Barbie represents a personal dream for me. It is something I will never get tired of as it evolves with me. As a child, I would braid her hair and change her clothes. The launch comes a month after Miley Cyrus got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and three months after celebrating the 20th anniversary of the series Hannah Montanafrom Disney, in which she played the protagonist.
Through a statement, Mattel highlighted that this edition of Barbie seeks to represent a specific stage in the artist’s career, linked to her recent aesthetic exploration in music and visual performance.
