ALER Baldomero Samayoa, known as “Chicharra”, was sentenced on Monday, April 14 to four years in prison switching, at the rate of Q50 daily, in a case in which he is indicated as an illegal association, judicial sources reported.
In addition, you must pay Q48 thousand for decent repair.
In principle, Samayoa was sentenced to eight years in prison, but for having submitted to the special procedure for acceptance of charges, the sentence was in four years switching at the rate of Q50 daily.
Judge Abelina Cruz Toscano also resolved that she must pay Q48 thousand as a decent repair to two social assistance institutions.
Alex García, lawyer from Samayoa, requested that the file with the sentence be sent to the Third Criminal Judgment, so that it in turn notifies the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in order to initiate the process of extradition to the United States, where a Court demands it under drug trafficking accusations.
“Chicharra” is pointed out to be the alleged leader of the drug trafficking structure.
