This April 20, Domingo de Resurrection of Holy Week, the processional courtship of Jesus has been carried out, together with the Virgen de la Alegría of the La Merced parish.
In the streets of the Metropolitan Cathedral the Guatemalans gathered to witness one of the latest processions of this major week, which celebrates the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus.
The processional courtship began at approximately 9 in the morning.
At approximately 11 in the morning the procession reached the Plaza de la Constitución, and it is expected that its entrance to the temple will be at 14 hours.
It is not the only courtship that will take place this Sunday in Guatemala, since in Antigua the passage of the procession of Risen Jesus, of the Church of San Pedro Apóstol, the procession of the risen Jesus of the Rectory of Santa Catalina and that of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary Temple of Santo Domingo.
