PNC refers two minors accused of armed attack against a woman in San Miguel Petapa

The National Civil Police (PNC) reported this Monday, April 20, that two teenagers, ages 17 and 16, were referred to the respective court, accused of being the alleged perpetrators of an armed attack in San Miguel Petapa.

According to the PNC, after a chase in the El Cerro hamlet, zone 3 of San Miguel Petapa, agents from Police Station 15 intercepted and sent both people to the respective court.

According to the police report, those referred would have shot a woman in zone 4 of that municipality.

“After committing the attack, they fled the scene on a motorcycle; however, after a chase they were intercepted,” said the PNC.

The police report added that a pistol was seized from the teenagers that is presumed to have been used in the armed attack, a fact that will be verified by the National Institute of Forensic Sciences. According to the PNC, the investigation continues.
