This edition is developed thanks to the articulation of various actors who share a vision of development and strengthening of the productive fabric, such as allies Banco Industrial, Cemaco, Cementos Progreso, Grupo AG, Pinturas Paleta, Grupo Prensa Libre, Guatevisión and the Guatemalan Chamber of the Construction Industry.

The project will expand its scope by selecting 10 businesses, whose work spaces will be intervened to improve their functionality, productivity and image, with the aim of supporting their growth and consolidation.

“This second season does not mark a beginning, but rather the consolidation of a platform that is generating a real impact on entrepreneurs and the trades that build Guatemala,” said Gunther Wellman, Marketing and Audiences Manager of Prensa Libre.

The initiative combines the physical transformation of spaces with strategic support, and highlights trades such as electricity, carpentry, plumbing and painting, recognizing the knowledge and experience of those who, through their work, contribute to the dynamism of the national economy.

The call will be open from May 1 to June 15 and invites entrepreneurs, SMEs and professionals in the construction sector from all over the country to apply to be part of the program. On Guatevisión the second season will premiere on August 3, in prime time. In each episode, the audience will be able to learn up close the stories of the selected entrepreneurs, accompany the process of transforming their spaces and discover the work of the specialists who make each remodeling possible, in a journey full of effort, learning and tangible results.

With this new season, Manos a la Obra reaffirms the value of collaboration between the media, the private sector and technical experts as a way to generate opportunities, strengthen productive capacities and contribute to the economic development of the country.
