A new edition of the Platino Awards was held this May 9 in Xcaret, Quintana Roo, Mexico, where artists from the world of film and television gathered to celebrate the best of the Ibero-American industry. movies like The secret agent They were among the favorites.

As part of this edition, the Platino Awards integrated a new category for Best Long-Term Series and celebrated the Argentine actor Guillermo Francella with the awarding of the Platinum Honor Award.
The actor stands out because he has won two Platinum Awards: one in 2016 for Best Male Performance for The clan and another for Best Male Performance in a Miniseries or Teleseries for The managerfrom 2023.
