With unique choreographies to the rhythm of trending music, the dance group Ghetto Kids has captured the attention of the public, including that of the Colombian singer Shakira, who invited them to join the group of dancers that will participate in the closing of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
After publishing a video in which they show their best steps to the rhythm of Dai Daithe official anthem of the World Cup, the little dancers received the artist’s invitation to participate in the show.
As Shakira explained, the Ugandan children’s dance group will be on the World Cup stage with her. In addition, he invited other dancers to join the trend and send their best choreographies to be part of the show.

The group of dancers, which became famous on social networks, emerged in 2014 at the initiative of David Kavuma, who was developing a social aid project in the Katwe neighborhood, in Kampala, Uganda.
The program sought to offer opportunities to vulnerable primary school children, through dance and music as development tools.
Media such as the EFE agency highlight that the group gained notoriety after participating in the program Britain’s Got Talent and collaborate with singer Eddy Kenzo.
