Who are Ghetto Kids

The group of dancers, which became famous on social networks, emerged in 2014 at the initiative of David Kavuma, who was developing a social aid project in the Katwe neighborhood, in Kampala, Uganda.

The program sought to offer opportunities to vulnerable primary school children, through dance and music as development tools.

Media such as the EFE agency highlight that the group gained notoriety after participating in the program Britain’s Got Talent and collaborate with singer Eddy Kenzo.
