A plane accident recorded on Friday, July 3 of the year in progress left two people dead in San Miguel Pochuta, Chimaltenango.
For several hours, lifeguardssoldiers of the Guatemalan Army and staff of the National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (Conred) carried out the search for the victims.
The General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics reported that the accident aircraft, identified as TG-PIPwas a single-engine Beechcraft 35 Bonanza.
According to records, the aircraft took off on Friday La Aurora International Airport at 8:54 a.m. bound for Santa Bárbara, Suchitepéquez. The flight was completed in half an houras estimated.
Then, at 2:08 p.m., the alarm signal from the Emergency Location Transmitter of the aircraft.
The authorities began search and rescue efforts, and it was not until this Saturday afternoon when identified the crew.
