The Department of Meteorological Research and Services of the National Institute of Seismology, Volcanology, Meteorology and Hydrology (Insivumeh) assured that the expected rain for Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12, are associated with a low pressure system and the passage of an easterly waveforecast for the following week.
Forecaster Ana Pérez reported on atmospheric conditions for October 10, which include a hot, humid and unstable environment.
He noted that they could register light rain or drizzle in the regions of the Caribbean, the Northern Transversal Strip and the south of Petén during the morning of this Friday.
In turn, the rest of the country could receive scattered clouds interspersed with partial clouds.
In the afternoon a slight decrease in the rain intensity. However, Pérez does not rule out precipitation with electrical activity in the bocacosta, the south of the central highlands and the south of the eastern valleys.
In the rest of the country they could develop short duration rains. Nor is the formation of local storms severe with abundant rain, strong wind and hail fall in mountainous areas.
