lThe Met Gala 2026 ceremony has given us something to talk about, from Beyoncé’s return to Bad Bunny’s wardrobe. This fashion event continues on the scene. One of the topics of conversation was the debut of Blue Ivy and Sunday Rose at the gala, given that they are both minors, which breaks one of the rules of the event.

The teenagers, daughters of Beyoncé and Nicole Kidman, debuted during the celebration last May 4, which had as its theme Fashion Is Art (Fashion is art), where both presented interesting concepts.

At just 14 years old, Blue Ivy, daughter of Beyoncé, made her official debut in the singer’s long-awaited return to the event, while Sunday Rose, 17 years old and daughter of Nicole Kidman, debuted alongside the actress. Both are part of the organizing committee of the 2026 edition of the fashion event.

From the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the teenagers made their appearance and broke the rule that establishes that only those over 18 years of age can attend, because alcoholic beverages are consumed at the event.

Media like elle They highlight that the entry of the minors may be due to the fact that both Beyoncé and Nicole Kidman are part of the organization, in addition to the fact that both, at their young age, are fashion references in Hollywood.

Blue Ivy opted for a cream-colored dress by Pierpaolo Piccioli for Balenciaga, with a strapless V-neckline, full skirt and train.

The outfit was complemented by a matching open jacket, Henry & Henry jewelry, silver heels, and dark sunglasses.

For her part, Sunday Rose chose an organza dress strapless from the Dior brand, in rosewood tones, with flower embroidery.

Although they have not been the only minors to participate in the fashion event, they are the first to break the rule since it became official in 2018. Celebrities like Maddie Ziegler could not participate due to the age restriction, which organizers highlighted that year to The Hollywood Reporter indicating that it is an event not suitable for minors.
